The Millennial Mom Journal: Now Launching A Spanish Section

As a Mexican-born woman living in the United States, I am incredibly proud of my heritage and all it offers. For years, I have felt a deep connection to both cultures and wanted to capture that sentiment in something tangible. That’s why, when launching my blog, The Millennial Mom Journal, I knew it had to include a section written entirely in Spanish.

Whether we are multilingual or not, language bridges culture and brings us closer together. By creating this Spanish section of the blog, I wanted to honor both countries — my beloved Mexico and my now home, The United States — by speaking from my own experience as a proud Mexican-American woman. It is also a way for me to remain connected to my roots and express who I am: A passionate Hispanic mom who celebrates her roots, multiculturalism, and womanhood and wishes to share that with others.

Being bilingual is a skill that should be cherished and celebrated. It allows us to discover more about ourselves and our culture while connecting with others. It is something that I am passionate about and strive to pass on to people through The Millennial Mom Journal: A platform in which Latinas can stay informed, read stories related to motherhood, womanhood, art and cultural expressions, find lifestyle tips, follow recipes – all while expressing themselves freely in their native tongue.

The launch of The Millennial Mom Journal was just the beginning of an incredible journey — one dedicated not only to documenting what it is to be a mom in a digital era but celebrating culture through embracing language as well; after all, this blog has always been much more than just a mom blog, and it welcomes everyone with interest in sharing experiences, their insights in modern life, and wishes to broaden their perspectives and empower themselves through self-expression.
